We will be hosting a Nike Sparq combine on April 14th!! All athletes are welcome. It is an opportunity to see where you stack against some of the nations best athletes through a series of measurable tests. Participating in the combine will allow you to plug your numbers into a data base online which will reveal your ranking or score. The results are visible to college coaches and scouts as well, and can be used as valid scores for the tests being measured.
The tests will include:
40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, Vertical jump, a kneeling power ball toss (which is sparq's way of measuring upper body power output, most commonly used as a bench press)

And we will also be offering training scholarships to some of the top performers at the combine, hard work gets recognized. We have our own combine type drills that we put athlete's through to give them a baseline number here at Apex, to see where they are when they start and where they can potentially go.
Our Drills:
20 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, Broad Jump single/double/triple, Vertical Jump single/double. We feel as though many of these drills reflect an athlete's lower body power and explosion, generally if we can improve these numbers we are improving their performance and speed.
