Intensity seems to come naturally to Marines. Semper Fi.
We've got a couple guys over 40 who routinely kick butt at WCF. Yesterday during "Murph" I felt compelled to do the 100/200/300 without partitioning after hearing E say that's how Murph did it. The 100 pullups were fine but I got lit up on the pushups. Another weakness exposed to be worked on. E on the other hand rolled to another gym record (he has Karen, Fran, and Murph) with a very solid performance while wearing the vest and just returning to our elevation. Nice work. I turn 33 this week and am still playing catchup. It's cool how age is just a label if you don't accept the degradation that comes with a sedentary lifestyle.
1/June/2010 Tuesday WOD "Welcome to June"
5 Rounds for Time
21 KB Swings (1.5/1)
Every time you drop the KB before completing your swings perform 5 burpees before picking it back up. If we're short a rowing machine you can sub 400m runs if you didn't do Murph on Monday. We've got a Crossfit Total coming up this week, be ready!
